3.A. REVIEW THE COLLABORATIVE CONFERENCING RESULTS AND TO SELECT A MANAGEMENT TEAM

Discussion:
The Board reviewed the Collaborative Conferencing Survey results and select the Management Team. The Management Team are the following members; Ray Washington, Dr. Vivian Williams, Dr. Tiffany Green, Dr. Jared Myracle Holly Kellar, Casshawndra Sain, Kippi Jordan and the alternate Tim Gilmer.
JMCEA will approve seven people to represent their side in the Collaborative Conferencing process and will have until January 1, 2020 to present those names to the Board. The survey results were as follows; of the 922 professional employees, 534 yes, 9 no and 379 did not respond. the results also showed that the professional employees would like for Jackson Madison County Education Association (local TEA affiliate to represent them in the process.

3.B. APPROVE THE SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH CONTRACT

Discussion:
The Board approved the Superintendent Search Contract for the Tennessee School Board Association (TSBA) to conduct the search. Jim Campbell would like for TSBA to interview all Board Members and Ben Torres will be contacted.

3.C. APPROVE THE SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH TIMELINE

Discussion:
The Board approved the Superintendent Search Timeline with the negotiation of the start date. Morris Merriweather was concerned about the June 1, 2020 start date. Mr. Merriweather would like for the new Superintendent to be able to shadow Ray Washington. Dale Thomas mentioned that the start date is easy to negotiation.
