Director of Schools' Evaluation Results-presented by Mr. Randall Bennett with TSBA Introduction of Principal Trey Duke Mitchell Neilson would like to thank the Patel family for providing lunch for the entire staff on Tuesday, November 6th. Mitchell Neilson will once again host Leadership Rutherford to witness the impact that the Leader in Me program has on students. MCS would like to congratulate Ava Jordan, Supervisor of Transportation, who has been asked to serve as the Interim Region 3 Director for the Tennessee Association of Pupil Transportation. Murfreesboro City Schools would like to thank the following community partners for their financial support of our parent engagement initiatives: Middle Tennessee Realtors Association, J & J Smythe Leasing, Michael's Homes (Mitchell Bowman) Murfreesboro City Schools would like to thank the following community partners for their support of the Backpack Food Program: Murfreesboro City Schools Transportation Dept. employees, First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and Murfreesboro Lioness Club. On Thanksgiving Day, one of Siegel’s Running Club coaches, Buffy Davenport, was running the Turkey Trot 8K in Nashville, and the other coach, Patric Thomas was running the Boro Dash in Murfreesboro. But also running with Mr. Thomas were ESE students Katie Hobbs, Madison Jeffers, Micah Freeman, Patrick Freeman, Jacob Anderson, William Santel, Colson Underwood, and Sam Robinson who took their Thanksgiving morning to run the race which benefitted several local charities. Cason Lane Academy BETA Club place third at the state level in Group talent and will be going to the National Convention.
