Accountability update
Enrollment numbers for day 11: ACS reports enrollment numbers for day 1, 3, 5, 11, 16 and 20. State requires reporting for day 20
School Safety Actions 2018-19 update.
Schools Safety Plans updated and copies provided to board members.
Obsidian Strategies conducted training at system-wide inservice.
Building evaluations show strengths and weaknesses.
Thumb Lock installation - 1 hallway complete.
Safe Schools Act/School Safety Grant 2018-19 Proposed Budget (with local match). Officer for elementary schools. Grant includes salary, equipment, vehicle, firearm, surveillance cameras, panic button, LED campus lighting and other necessary items. ACS portion of Officer salary would be 50%.
AMS gym update with project timeline
TiJuana Perry (AHS) selected to serve on TDOE Work Based Learning Regional Leadership Team.
Curtis Herring (AHS) selected to the TNReady Ambassadors.
Jason Winkler (ACS) and Jonathan Hawkins (AMS) have been selected to present at the TDOE LEAD Conference in October.
Exploring possibility of JROTC (Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps) program at AHS.
River City Church contract to use AHS facility.
District Learning Team being developed.
Family Life Curriculum available for preview September 20, 7:30 - 4:30.
Communication Coordinator, Tyler Hill, branding new ACS website with new logo. Tyler provided statistics on website views and likes.

Mr. Mayo reported:

Staffing update: 54 new hires, 69 substitutes
Tenure list forthcoming.
Recruitment: 5 fall/3 spring
