Discussion: Mr. Booker explained the dedication of the Ms. Tomlinson and Ms. Ogle and members of the Perennial Math Team. Ms. Tomlinson provided an overview the program and presented the students with certificates.

2018-19 School Board Meeting Calendar complete.
2018-19 Annual Calendar in progress, pending TSBA upcoming meetings.
Self-Evaluation will be ready in May. Suggestions welcomed.
Transcripts are completed and due June 30.
TSBA School Safety Summit attended by Chairman Williams, Barbara Fletcher and Scott Benjamin.
Student entertainment proposal at TSBA Annual Convention being explored.

7.B. Superintendent's Report

Discussion:

Input from community survey factored into Strategic Plan, plan will be submitted for board for approval at next meeting
Agreement with Bellevue-Arlington terminated
River City Church to begin negotiations to rent facility in the fall
Faith Baptist contract to rent DES effective July 1
Communications press release highlights
Annual AHS art show tonight

Mr. Mayo:

Staffing update - fully staffed except 4 positions open and actively interviewing
Recruitment update
Teacher Interns - ACS was selected to host interns at all 4 schools
Payroll calendars - in final phase, ongoing training to make transition seamless
Benefits - open enrollment: 1st week in May, meet with American Infidelity, notifications will contain all information with links included, by end of this week
Communications area - under contract for new user friendly website, launch estimated for late July or early August

Reminder to turn in Superintendent's evaluation due no later than April 30.

Discussion:

Mr. Viox provided overview of NSBA Convention.

Convention provided Immersion Program for new attendees (and new board members).
ACS to begin 3 and 2 program for NSBA attendance. (3 one year/2 the next).
School security major topic.
Quality of workshop excellent. Very beneficial.
Digital handouts.
Opportunity to interact with many school systems.
