Discussion:  Superintendent Mason led the meeting. The purpose of the 5-Year Strategic Plan is to follow the ACS Mission and Vision Statement and to build a blueprint to guide the district's work in meeting the goals developed by the Board of Education. Committee Leaders reviewed the goals and strategies to meet the objectives of the 5-Year Strategic Plan. Board members made comments and suggestions for the goals that they were on the committee of. Overall comments were positive. Superintendent Mason submitted the plan as presented to the Chairman Viox for approval at the July 26, 2016 meeting. Board members are in agreement with the plan presented. Superintendent will provide the Board updates each semester.
