1. Call to Order
Discussion:
Chairman Beaty called the meeting to order and welcomed dignitaries in attendance.

2. Bradley County Schools Capital Improvement Priorities
|

2.a. Ocoee Middle School CDC
Discussion:
Dr. Linda Cash, Dr. Corey Limburg, and Kelly Mason updated the Board on the need for new CDC classrooms at Ocoee Middle School. Peter Ludman, architect, showed the Board a potential drawing of the addition.

2.b. Walker Valley High School Bleachers
Discussion:
Kyle Page and Corbett Drew gave the Board estimates for new bleachers for the visitor's side of the Walker Valley Football stadium. The Board discussed different options for various bleachers and the cost of each set.

2.c. Capacity / Conditions Survey and Action Items
Discussion:
Peter Ludman, architect, described in depth the findings from the capacity study that Cope Architect completed over all the Elementary Schools. The study is attached.

2.d. Star Vue Lane Property
Discussion:
Corbett Drew presented the Star Vue Lane property to the Board. This property is 16,800sq ft and is for sale for $1,800,000. They were asked to look at the property, because it is adjacent to Bradley Central High School. He stated that the building is currently a business occupancy and would have to be converted to an educational occupancy, which would bring a lot of remodeling. Mr. Drew stated that the building would need approximately $3,500,000 to $4,000,000 in renovations. He let the Board know that it might be more cost efficient to build a new building on the existing property. Dr. Lovingood stated that it would be beneficial to also look at the baseball facilities while looking at football, so that you could possibly assist both programs with a new building.

Chairman Beaty announced that the Board would be traveling to Nashville for the TSBA Leadership Conference & Annual Convention on November 13.

Items missed were moved to the December Board Meeting and the February Retreat.
