6.a. DELL Student Tech Crew - Scott Webb, Technology Director
Discussion:
Scott Webb, Technology Director, and Donna Mitchell, Technology Coach, introduced students from Lake Forest Middle and Bradley Central High School that are part of the DELL Student Tech Crew. The Tech Crew is made up of students that are interested in computers and able to pass the DELL _______ test. After they pass the test they are able to work on computers at the school which helps the Technology Department with additional hands they need to maintain and manage technology for the District. They change out broken screens, fix missing or stuck keys, and complete help tickets. This program has started with middle and high schools but will open up to elementary schools in the future.

7. Teacher Tenure Recommendations - Sarah Crispin, Human Resource Director

Discussion:
HR Director, Sarah Crispin, presented the Teacher Tenure Recommendations to the Board. 80 teachers were eligible for the recommendation - 36 teachers were eligible and 44 were not eligible. They must have 5 years with a 4 or 5. The 44 that were not approved this year will be reviewed again each year.

Discussion:
Chairman Weathers recommended the Chairman and Vice Chair to serve on the Capital Outlay Committee. This is standard practice that the Chair and Vice Chair serve each year.

Wright Brothers, Sandra Knight, Volunteer Electric and Environmental, have been meeting with Mr. Page. He told the Board that he is about ready to draft a bid.

When the weather breaks and the asphalt plant opens back up, we will begin paving the tennis courts, Kyle Page told the Board.
