Recommended Motion(s):
A motion is made to accept McGill Associates to conduct a traffic study to help alleviate traffic congestion at Hopewell Elementary and to help secure the Federal Safe Routes to Schools grant. Futhermore, to ask Mr. Humberd to inquire about purchasing acreage from Volunteer Electric Cooperation. Passed with a motion by Board Member #1 and a second by Board Member #2.

13. Special Litigation Policy Amendment - Vicki Beaty
Recommended Motion(s):
A motion is made to add to Policy 1.302 the following: Legal matters specific to Special Education will be addressed as follows: Upon receiving a request for a due process hearing or if Special Education staff suspect litigation of this type, the Director of Schools in collaboration with the Special Education Supervisor will make the decision to engage an attorney to represent the school district with expertise in the specific area of disability. Passed with a motion by Board Member #1 and a second by Board Member #2.
