Discussion:
Lebron Montgomery, Yolanda Ramsey, and Hubert Connelly passed away since our last Board Meeting, Nancy Casson told the Board. Several of the Board members remembered them with a story or comment.

6. Director of Schools Report
Discussion:
Dr. Cash told the Board that everyone was back to school from the break and all was well. She told them how much she appreciates the principals and staff for all they are doing to keep everyone safe.
Update at Black Fox and North Lee Addition Project
October is Principal Appreciation month - please recoginize your Principal. Secondary Principals, AD's and Mr. Mull will meet next week to discuss overnight trips. Coaches need to know how to plan for 2nd semester. They will consider TSSAA and CDC guidelines. We will keep you informed. Lake Forest Middle School will have their Open House / Dedication on Sunday, December 6th from 2:00-4:00. Invitions sent out for this event. Please be watching for them. |

7. 2020 Local Education Agency Compliance Report - Dr. Cash

Discussion:
Dr. Cash explained that the system is in compliance with all the state guidelines except our plan to have everyone background checked and fingerprinting completed in 3 years. Our 3 year plan was disrupted so we have a new plan to have everyone's completed by June 30, 2023.

8. 2021-22 School Calendar Approval - Terri Murray

Discussion:
Terri Murray presented the 2021-22 School Calendar to the Board for approval. She told the Board that the calendar is very similar to this years calendar except the week of Fall Break. It was moved to a week later to line up with Cleveland City, Lee University, and Polk County.

Discussion:
Dr. Cash apologized for jumping the gun on this item. She covered it in her Good News Report.

12. PIE Update - Corbett Drew / Kyle Page
Discussion:
Mr. Drew gave the Board the following update: No major updates at this time. This is really a progress report. Demo has begun. We have our demo permit, land disturbance permit, utilities. We have a big meeting set for next week to get our building permit in hand. That should release everything. Everything is still tracking for that April 1st - substantial completion. Power and data have already been pulled under Parker Street to our side of the road. Water and sanitary sewer that we are tying into- work has been released and we are trying to coordinate the timing. Leasing - 3 leases cleared by the Business Case team. They will go to tenants tomorrow for final deal points. Once tenants are on Board, the leases will come back to the Board for final approval and signatures.

14. Announcements - The next meeting of the Board will be on Thursday, November 12th at 5:30. We are changing the meeting back to the 2nd Thursday of the month since TSBA Leadership Conference was cancelled.
