1. Call to Order
Discussion:
The Executive Committee of the Marshall County Board of Education, comprised of Chairman of the Board Donnie Moses and Director of Schools Jacob Sorrells, spoke by phone Friday, March 16, 2018, at 10:44 a.m. to approve wireless access points bids. Technology Supervisor Suzanne Ingram was also in attendance.

Discussion:
Ms. Ingram stated that 18 requests for bids were sent out; from those 18, her office received four bids. PCS submitted two bids: $126,448.07 and $126,967.91; CDWG submitted two bids: $147,968.00 and $170,292.00. Ms. Ingram asked that the executive committee award the bid to the second lowest bid, $126,967.91, because newer model switches will be provided in this cost; the switches in the low bid will soon be obsolete.
