9. Director's Report

Discussion:
Continuing the Director's Report, Mr. Sorrells thanked the board members for everything they do for the school system. He then directed their attention to the many gifts at each member's desk, placed there by principals in recognition of School Board Appreciation Week.

Discussion:
During the Director's Report, Mr. Sorrells stated that a request has been submitted that the board review a recent SDHA during which a student was remanded to alternative school. (See motion) The board agreed to conduct the hearing immediately following the board meeting.
