9. Director's Report

Discussion:
During the Director's Report, Mr. Sorrells said that he had received more information about the Town of Cornersville's request for property at Cornersville Elementary School, and from John Trail concerning Preston Hopkins Field. Mr. Sorrells would like for the board, during the August meeting, to schedule a work session sometime in September or October to discuss these issues, as well as other issues that may come up between now and then. Mr. Sorrells told the board that he has received a request to add a middle school swim team. He stated there would be no expense this year, but the coach(es) may request a supplement in the future.

Prior to the adjournment, Ms. Cathey asked that the board keep Harvey Jones in their prayers as he continues to recover. The meeting adjourned at 6:12 p.m.
