Discussion:
The Marshall County Board of Education met in special called session on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at 6:05 p.m. in the Board Conference Room at Jones School to discuss and approve Jacob Sorrells' employment contract.

2. Employment Contract for Director of Schools

Discussion:
Following discussions, it was determined that the Contract for Employment between Jacob Sorrells and the Marshall County Board of Education should be approved effective July 1, 2016. It is recommended that one change will be made as follows or as recommended by Chuck Cagle:
Item 1. EMPLOYMENT. The BOARD, in accordance and consistent with its action as found in minutes of its meeting held on the 11th day of April, 2016, hereby elects and employs Jacob Sorrells who does accept such employment, both in accordance with the terms and provisions herein contained.
