1. Call to Order
Discussion:
The Executive Committee of the Marshall County Board of Education, comprised of Chairman of the Board Donnie Moses and Director of Schools Jackie Abernathy, spoke by phone Wednesday, June 3,2015, at approximately 11:27 a.m. to approve moving forward with renovation of the MCHS gym floor. Deputy Director Jacob Sorrells was also in attendance.

2. Renovation of MCHS Gym Floor

Discussion:
Prior to the executive committee session, Ms. Abernathy spoke with Ken Lilly, chairman of the maintenance committee. She explained that in order to get on the company's schedule to have the floor finished by the start of school, she had to give the company an answer as soon as possible. She added that Mr. Sorrells attempted to solicit bids, but no one has submitted bids for the project; Ms. Abernathy determined that other vendors could not provide a lower bid than the quote taken from the cooperative bid submitted by Sports Floors, Inc. Mr. Lilly agreed to move forward.
During the executive committee session, Ms. Abernathy told Mr. Moses that she had contacted Mr. Lilly, then explained the situation.
