Discussion: The Marshall County Board of Education met in special called session on Friday, August 31 at 10:15 a.m. in the Board Conference Room to approve the 2012-2013 budget. Members present were Curt Denton, Kristen Gold, Harvey Jones, Barbara Kennedy, Mike Keny, Donnie Moses, and Randy Perryman. Sam Smith and Ann Tears were absent.

2. 2012-2013 Budget

Motion passed:

Mr. Moses made a motion, with a second by Mr. Denton, to approve the budget as presented. In addition, the County Commission will fund $300,000 in capital outlay for roof repairs and any maintenance of effort revenue shortfalls from other sources, excluding school fund balance. Ms. Kennedy, Mr. Keny and Mr. Moses read a disclosure statement before the vote. The motion passed 7-0. passed with a motion by Mr. Donnie Moses and a second by Mr. Kenneth Lilly.
