I. PROCEDURAL ITEMS
Discussion:
The Bedford County Board of Education met for a closed meeting on January 16, 2025 at 6:45 pm in the Board of Education Central Office located at 500 Madison St., Shelbyville, TN. Board members Michael Cook, Brian Crews, David Brown, Dan Reed, Barton Williams, Glenn Forsee, Lana Craig, Andrea Anderson and Shanna Boyette were present. Also present were Dr. Tammy Garrett, Tim Harwell, Sgt. Tracey Harvey (SRO Supervisor), Chad Fletcher (School Safety Coordinator), David Kitchens, (EMA Director), and Charles Crumrine (Homeland Security Agent for Bedford and Moore Counties).

Discussion:
Chairman Michael Cook opened the meeting. He explained that per state law all meetings on school safety are to be closed meetings.

Discussion:
School safety was presented and there were questions and suggestions from the board members.
