III.A. Revision - Policy 1.407 - School Board Records
Rationale:
This policy had a major rewrite in June of 2016. The revision before you is in response to Public Chapter 233 which expands the ways citizens may submit open records requests and allows LEAs to deny requests based on the citizen's failure to comply with the policy. I tis important to note that Tennessee citizens may now request to view public records by phone, fax, U.S. mail, and email.
