Rationale:
The Superintendent's contract can be extended not to exceed a duration of four years total for the contract, which the Board has already done with the one year extension. The Board would need to take action prior to September 30 this year on a renewal or negotiating a new contract or it would serve as notice to the superintendent that they did not intend to do anything.

Rationale:
Attached is the TCA that talks about the rules governing action on the contract cannot be taken 45 days prior to an election or 30 days after an election and also about posting notice of intent 15 days prior to action and that it must be the first item on the agenda. |
