IV.C.1. Revision - Policy 4.700 - Testing Programs
Rationale:
The State Board of Education recently changed their Policy 3.400 on High School Examinations to allow a district to exclude End of Course exam scores from a student's grade if they are not received at least 5 instructional days before the end of the course.
In addition, there was also the new state law that allows the LEA to disallow TCAP scores for the same reason. The wording is different for each, because EOC is five days from end of the course and TCAP is five days from end of the school year. |

Rationale:
During the Legislative Session, the General Assembly enacted Public Chapter 325 which requires districts to have a policy in place to address Sudden Cardiac Arrest Prevention. The new policy addresses training and removal of students from athletics.
