Rationale:
The following policy updates and new policies are being suggested in part as compliance with the new Uniform Grant Guidance mandated by the Obama administration. Compliance with UGG is detailed and complex. Administration has met with county finance and the regional CORE office on UGG. Much of what is needed will be implemented through procedures that are being developed through a template provided by the state.
Items highlighted in yellow are due to UGG compliance. Items in red are in order to have your financial policies be accurately reflective of the county's financial policies.
The new policy on Background Investigations is recommended by TSBA and has been modified for our system and is also one of the policies needed for UGG compliance. |
