VIII.C.2. Superintendent's Contract Extension
Rationale:
Last month as part of executive committee report item regarding the superintendent's evaluation, it was the will of the Board to extend the Superintendent's contract by one year. In order to take official action, we will need to place this as the first action item on next month's agenda. A BOE cannot take official action to extend a superintendent's contract, 30 days prior to or 30 days immediately following an election. We also need to give a 15 day notice of the intent to extend the contract and that it will be the first item on the agenda.
