Rationale:
Daniel Kleindienst recommends rejecting the portion of the bid on Cascade Elementary Cooling Tower repairs as they have determined that the total cost of repairs is very near the cost of a total replacement for the cooling tower. Maintenance is in the process of bidding otu a new cooling tower.
The base bid from Billy Thomas Plumbing & Electric in the amount of $22,400.00 is recommended for approval. The bid from Mechancial Resource Group is being recommended as lowest and best bid for Cascade High School Chiller compressor replacement in the amount of $25,169.00. The bid from Billy Thomas Plumbing and Electric in the amount of $27,100.00 is being recommended for Southside School electrical repairs/upgrades. |

Rationale:
Express appreciation to Board for opportunity.
Transition has been very smooth. Special thank you to Mr. Bone and Mr. Gray. Excellent timing on the part of the Board to have an April 1 hire date. Thank you to principals that things running smoothly at all schools and helping with transition. Have attempted to visit each school the first week to observe and meet with principals. Cascade Elementary to be recognized for their Blue Ribbon status by the State BOE this Friday. Will attend that ceremony. Dual Credit Program for Advanced Algebra and all three high schools will participate. Graduation Update. |
