Discussion (Visible on Public Minutes):  Nate Tucker welcomed everyone. David Faltys and Minnie Forte-Brown from Ray and Associates joined the meeting via Google Meet to assist, if needed, during the board member discussion. It was a consensus that the board begin a discussion instead of using the voting and matrix system they had been using with R&A.

Discussion (Visible on Public Minutes):  Each member will have a time limit on the clock for them to speak about each candidate.

Discussion (Visible on Public Minutes):  Mr. Kelly Kiser will draw names as to order of who will speak, Andrea McMackin will set a 5-minute clock for each board member to give their opinion on each candidate in the first round. The name draw went as follows:

2. Carolyn Ingram
3. Peggy Pesterfield
4. Jodi Riggins
5. Krista McKay
6. Nate Tucker
7. Andy Lay

The second round will allow for 2 minutes on the clock. Kelly Kiser drew names as follows:

3. Krista McKay
4. Nate Tucker
5. Carolyn Ingram
6. Peggy Pesterfield
7. Jodi Riggins

Time allowed for an open discussion of all board members, no time or name draw.

Kelly Kiser brought the meeting to a slight close by giving the board 5 questions to think about before the 5:30 vote.
1. How will these candidates activate leadership?
2. Will these candidates have integrity with the board and community?
3. Why are we here? 
4. Who do you want to work with?
5. What strategies did they bring to solve our issues? These issues are:

• Behavior
• ESL
• Growth

Kelly Kiser- No matter the vote, there is hard work to get done, and we all have to work together.
