Dr. Bo Shadden, Director of Career & Technical Education (CTE) and Post-Secondary Education, Jimmy Burleson, Transition School to Work (TSW) Coordinator, Connie Davis, Work-Based Learning Coordinator(WBL), and Julie Kumar, Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) Coordinator, will provide a report on connecting classrooms to careers through the work-based learning program at Dobyns-Bennett High School.

2.2. Draft KCS School Calendar Review for SY 2026-2027

Dr. Andy True, Assistant Superintendent - Administration, will review the draft Kingsport City Schools 2026-2027 School Calendar and the proposed KCS 2026-2027 Designated Holiday Schedule for 12-month employees. The Board will consider approval of the school calendar and holiday schedule at the October meeting.
