Description:
Dr. Brian Cinnamon, Chief Academic Officer - Secondary, Dr. Holly Flora, Chief Academic Officer - Elementary, and Summer Learning Site Leads Dr. Ashley Carter, Dr. Misty Keller, Virginia Marshall, Aubryn Street, and Dr. Kindetta Thompson will provide a Kingsport City Schools Summer Learning Update. This report will provide a brief overview of the summer learning opportunities that were available to students during June 2024.

Mr. Jim Nash, Chief Student Services Officer, will provide a Student Services report, which will include information on student discipline, bullying, and attendance for the 2023-2024 school year.

Dr. Andy True, Assistant Superintendent - Administration, will review one new and four revised policies recommended for Board approval on First Reading at the September Board meeting. New policies require two readings, while revised policies only require one reading for final approval.
