1. CALL TO ORDER

2. Mr. Thomas Weems, Architect will be reporting on possibilities for the T. A. Dugger Jr. High School construction project.

3. SYSTEM-WIDE PRIORITY BUDGET REQUESTS:

3.A. Dr. Gardenhour has requested the purchase of band instruments in the estimated amount of $40,000.00.

3.B. Dr. Gardenhour has requested an amount of $5,000.00 to be used for the Choral Department at Elizabethton High School.

3.C. Dr. Gardenhour has requested an increase in athletic supplements in the estimated amount of $20,000.00.

3.D. Dr. Gardenhour has requested an hourly rate increase for cooks and custodians in the estimated amount of $35,000.00.

4. INDIVIDUAL SCHOOL PRIORITY BUDGET REQUESTS:

4.A. Mr. Chris Berry, Principal at T. A. Dugger Jr. High School, has requested the replacement of three outdated water fountains in the estimated amount of $2,700.00.

4.B. Mr. Jon Minton, Principal at Elizabethton High School, has requested funding for an ROTC Instructor in the estimated amount of $55,000.00.

4.C. Mr. Jon Minton, Principal at Elizabethton High School, has requested intercom upgrades in the estimated amount of $2,500.00 and that it be added to the Maintenance Department schedule.

4.D. Mr. Jon Minton, Principal at Elizabethton High School and Mr. Brian Culbert, CTE Director at Elizabethton High School, have requested a welding instructor and welding equipment in the estimated amount of $180,000.00.  We are hoping to secure grant funding in the amount $125,000.00. 

5. TRANSPORTATION PRIORITY BUDGET REQUESTS:

5.A. Mr. John Hutchins, Transportation Supervisor, has requested an increase in the bus maintenance and repair budget in the estimated amount of $5,000.00.

6. CURRICULUM PRIORITY BUDGET REQUESTS:

6.A. Dr. Myra Newman, Deputy Director of Schools, has requested Professional Development/Contracted Services to help with the implementation of ELA Curriculum in the estimated amount of $30,000.00.
