7.a. Board Meeting Video Bids
Rationale:
From The Video Guy: I have been Live Streaming the BOE Meetings for several months now. The meetings are broadcast to my Facebook page and YouTube Channel. I currently also Live Stream the Washington County Tennessee Commissioners Meetings and I set then up their own YouTube Channel. All the meetings are archived to their YouTube Channel and I can access an embed code that I can send to them to put the meeting on their website. All comments are disabled on the meetings but YouTube doesn't offer a way to disable sharing. I can do the same for the BOE. I will set the YouTube Channel up under a sullivancountytn.gov email thus allowing the BOE access at all times. My monthly fee to Live Stream the meetings is $150.
From Gabe Hobbs: Live-streaming to youtube comes with its own set of specifications and needs, but it can definitely be done. That being said, without the privacy and premium hosting/streaming I would quote the job at $429 a month and then $100 for each subsequent meeting a month. The only difference with youtube being that it requires a separate piece of reliable software to live-stream to the platform. |
