Rationale:
Background Information: Each year our system reviews new textbooks in a particular curriculum are for adoption. This year we had five (5) committees consisting of classroom teachers, parents, and the Secondary Curriculum director reviewing textbooks. The curriculum areas reviewed this year were Agriculture, STEM, Health Science, Transportation-Distribution & Logistics, and Architecture & Construction. (Section B – Cycle 1 of the Tennessee Textbook Adoption Cycle).
