VII.1. Celebration of Haywood County Schools

VII.2. AFJROTC - Out of State Travel
AFJROTC is requesting approval to conduct a Curriculum in Action (CIA) trip to Westside High School in Jonesboro, AR on October 19, 2019.  They will depart HHS at 6:00a.m. and return at 8:00p.m.

VII.3. AFJRTOC - Out of State Travel
AFJROTC is requesting approval for a Curriculum in Action (CIA )trip to St. Louis, MO, October 25-26, 2019.  They will depart HHS on Friday, October 25 at 7:00a.m. and return on Saturday, October 26 at 8:00p.m. 

VII.4. Surplus Items
Lists of surplus technology items from HMS and HHS for sale/disposal are attached for your approval. 

VII.5. Bus Driver and School Bus Monitor Salary Increase (Effective October 15, 2019)
With the reduction of bus routes from the 18-19 school year, HCS is able to increase the salary schedule for our bus drivers and bus monitors.  We are seeking approval of the increase. 

VII.6. Full-Time/Part-Time Support Staff Bonus (November 2019)
We are seeking approval of a $500 bonus for full-time support staff and $250 bonus for part-time staff.  This includes cafeteria employees.  If approved, bonuses will be paid at the same time as the TIF pay-outs.  TIF pay-outs range from $355, $710, and $1065.

VII.11. ANNOUNCEMENTS
1.  The monthly school board luncheon for October will be at Haywood Elementary on 10/29/19 at noon. 
2.  The TSBA Leadership Conference and Annual Convention will be held at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville on 11/14/19 - 11/17/19.
3.  The next regularly scheduled board meeting will be 11/21/2019 at 6:00p.m.
