Discussion:  Jim McCampbell led the pledge of allegiance. A moment of silence was observed. The meeting was opened by Board Member Robert Sleadd playing a recording from WMUF radio who provided play-by-play at last Friday night's state championship game.

Storm Safe Shelters

Discussion:  Mr. Miles stated that there were no new updates and that they are still waiting to hear from the grant. Chairman Reimold pointed out that PSSD had their open house of their new storm safe facility at Inman. Mr. Miles stated that the Henry County Leadership class toured the facility along with other schools and facilities of Henry County Schools this week.

Budget Amendments

Discussion:  Mr. Miles and Judy Kee discussed budget amendments. They both pointed out that none of them were new money but that the amendments were done to true up accounts.
Pathway Curriculum Update
Speaker(s):  Betsy Hudgins
Discussion:  Besty Hudgins presented information regarding updates on curriculum. Ms. Hudgins explained that most of these changes were simply just name changes and not new courses. These classes will be available for next school year. Registration will begin in January.
Teacher Evaluation Model Presentation
Speaker(s):  Dr. Renea Wade & Betsy Hudgins
Discussion:  Betsty Hudgins and Renea Wade made a presentation regarding the new Teacher Evaluation Model. Henry County has developed teacher training support regarding the new teacher evaluation. A total of 29 persons are Trained Evaluators. A copy of the presentation is attached to the minutes. Chairman Reimold shared an example of a Superintendent's Evaluation from another county. She asked that the other board members look it over since it is more in line with the current teacher evaluation system. Meeting adjourned 6:01pm
