1. Call to Order
Discussion:
The Executive Committee of the Marshall County Board of Education, comprised of Chairman of the Board Mike Keny and Director of Schools Jackie Abernathy, spoke by phone Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at approximately 6:15 p.m. to approve a Forrest Middle School principal position, eliminate the two Forrest assistant principal positions, and adjust the organization chart to reflect changing the six assistant principals on the 7-12 grade level to four assistant principals.

2. Adjust Organization Chart

Discussion:
Prior to the session, Ms. Abernathy emailed all board members asking for their input on the proposal (Davy McClaran will be the FHS principal, and Robby Reasonover will be the FMS principal). Ms. Abernathy explained in the email that the assistant principal position would become an instructional facilitator in the high school (teacher salary) for next year. Ms. Abernathy presented the board members' input to Chairman Keny.
The Executive Committee voted 2-0 to approve the proposal and adjust the organization chart to reflect the changes.
